Who We Are
Peace and Justice
We are a peace and justice church committed to promoting spirituality and worship through our values of nonviolence. Our congregation actively supports immigrant families seeking refugee and asylum status, reflecting our dedication to social justice. Additionally, our members write letters to prisoners on death row and engage in efforts that promote LGBTQ+ inclusion. We also collect clothing and cases of water to deliver to the Navajo Nations, embodying our mission of compassion and support.
Open and Affirming
Since 2012, AllianceQ has recognized us as an Open and Affirming Congregation, reflecting our commitment to LGBTQ+ inclusion. We firmly believe that all individuals are beloved children of God, and we actively welcome LGBTQ+ individuals into membership and leadership roles. Our ministers officiate traditional and same-sex weddings, embodying our mission as a peace and justice church that prioritizes spirituality and worship for everyone. Authentic Spirituality
Spirituality and worship involve opening ourselves up to God and our neighbor, allowing the Spirit to flow through us. We pray for God to transform us individually, awakening us to the sacred all around us, and collectively experience the kingdom of God. Our journey toward peace and justice within the church is deepened through ministries of worship, education, fellowship, and mission, all while embracing LGBTQ+ inclusion in our community.
